In an emotional Eucharist held this past March 9, 2026, at the Local Coordination of Ja\u00e9n, corresponding to the National Coordination of Southern Spain, five new brother and sister guides were sent forth.<\/p>\n

During the celebration, which took place at the San F\u00e9lix de Valois parish in the city of Ja\u00e9n, the five new members, after a period of preparation, received their commissioning through the Rite of Sending Forth in which their vocation of service was reaffirmed. The priest, Fr. Luis Maria Salazar, highlighted that the mission of these guides is fundamental to strengthening spiritual life through prayer and to fostering a personal encounter with God in the everyday nature of life.<\/p>\n

The new guides are:\u00a0Ascensi\u00f3n, Chon, Maria Luisa, Manolo, and Ascensi\u00f3n de Dios.<\/strong>\u00a0They have lived the School of Preparation for Guides with great intensity and fervor. This school was taught by guide Cristina Navarro, where moments of prayer and “listened silence” allowed them to discern if they truly have the vocation of guides. It also strengthened their preparation as disciples and apostles so that, from now on, they feel truly “sent” to announce the Good News to everyone they meet on their path, knowing that the Lord is with them and accompanies them in this new mission.<\/p>\n
