On March 21, the first Sending Forth Mass took place in Senegal, an event that marks a milestone in the history of the Prayer and Life Workshops Association, both on the African continent and worldwide. During this significant celebration, Marie Anne Lopy and Adeline Niouky completed their preparation process, generously responding to the Lord\u2019s call and joining as new PLW Guides.<\/p>\n

The Eucharist was celebrated at the Cathedral of Ziguinchor and presided over by Bishop Francis, accompanied by Father Paul Bakary and other priests who concelebrated, lending great significance to this important moment. The event was also attended by the International Coordination of the Prayer and Life Workshops, represented by Lorena Rodr\u00edguez (International Coordinator) and Purificaci\u00f3n Vilar (International Secretary), as well as the Guide on mission in this West African country, Carmina Tar\u00edn, reflecting the support and commitment to a mission that continues to consolidate and grow.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was deeply marked by emotion and spiritual intensity, with the participation of 35 seminarians, family members of the new Guides, and former PLW participants.<\/p>\n

During the celebration, the new Guides shared their experiences of spiritual transformation and expressed their firm commitment to be witnesses of God\u2019s love in their daily lives. With this sending-forth, they assume the mission of bringing this service wherever they are called, with the aim of preparing hearts to receive divine love, fostering a living relationship with Jesus Christ, and contributing to the growth of this ecclesial work in Senegal.<\/p>\n
