Annual Retreat for Guides held from April 24 to 26, 2026, at the Santo Tomas de Aquino Spirituality Center, in the city of Uberaba, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, organized by the Uberaba Local Coordination of the National Brazil Center 5 of the Brazil Center Zone.<\/p>\n
The retreat was led by Guide Elaine Donato Ciabotti and had as its theme \u201cThe Evangelical Profile of Authority.\u201d Thirty-nine Guides from various Local Coordinations attended.<\/p>\n
In an environment marked by the spirituality born from so many hearts, the Guides had the opportunity to experience Father Ignacio’s teachings on the evangelical profile of authority and were able to perceive that only love builds and conquers for Christ sheep that are in need of a sheepfold; that love, is the only force capable of transforming the human heart. Father Ignacio, wise creator of the Workshops, had wrote for this Retreat the importance of living love with all the intensity of our soul.<\/p>\n
At the end of the Retreat, during the Eucharistic Celebration, the celebrant, in his homily, reaffirmed to those present the certainty that, as Guides of the Prayer and Life Workshops, they are pastors sent and consecrated to bring Christ to their brothers and sisters, motivated by love. He also said that we should spare no effort to achieve the goal of PLW: to contribute, each one in their own way and according to their possibilities, to the great battle for the Kingdom of God, whose weapons are prayer and testimony, truth and life, love and peace!<\/p>\n
Being a silent Retreat contributed to the prayers and to the powerful moments. There were three very well-lived days in the presence of God, and everyone left with the certainty that love can do everything, and it renews the heart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
