We are pleased to share that from 8\u201310 May 2026, Slovenia welcomed the international PLW coordination team: Lorena Rodr\u00edguez (Coordinator), Puri Vilar (Secretary), and Mercedes Sanz (Treasurer). Their visit was a valuable opportunity for the Slovenian community of PLW Guides to meet together, deepen the understanding of the PLW charism, and receive renewed encouragement for our mission and service.<\/p>\n

The visit began on Friday morning with a meeting with Archbishop Msgr. Stanislav Zore, who highlighted the importance of persevering in sowing goodness and encouraged us not to be guided by efficiency or statistics, but to remain open to the work of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, Guides from across Slovenia gathered in \u0160entjakob with the international PLW leadership team. The central message shared by the international coordinator was that personal prayer is the foundation of service and leadership within the PLW Workshops. The charism, as expressed in the Guide\u2019s Way of Life, calls us to ongoing conversion.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the international and national coordinators visited the School for the Preparation of New Guides in Repnje, where they expressed deep gratitude for the experience and for the opportunity to meet future Guides during their formation.<\/p>\n

We also had the opportunity to share reflections on the life and mission of PLW in Slovenia, which currently has 39 active Guides in two local coordinations. The presence of the international team, their openness, and their fraternal spirit deepened our sense of communion and strengthened our unity with the worldwide PLW family.<\/p>\n

We trust that the days spent together will continue to bear fruit in the life of PLW in Slovenia.<\/p>\n
