MEETING OF THE EVANGELIZING MARRIED GUIDES OF THE EXPERIENCE OF GOD (EEG) MEETINGS OF THE WEST, CENTRAL AND EAST BRAZIL ZONES.

Between November 29, 30 and December 1, at the Santa Monica Hotel in Guarulhos, the 3rd Meeting of the GCE of EEG of the West, Central and East Brazil Zones was held.

26 Guides were present, of which 9 couples were Evangelizing Married Guides of the EEG.

The one who opened this Meeting with the welcome and the introductory talk on Friday, morning prayer and talk 1 on Saturday, was our dear older sister Maristella Carvalho.

The topics addressed were:

* Mission Awareness

* Self-criticism

* Disappropriation (based on the Life and Style of the Guides book)

* Dynamics (taken from the 1-day Retreat: A Happy Marriage)

* Path of humility

* Fidelity to the EEG Manual

* Essential qualities to be an Evangelizing Marriage Guide

* Personalized work, what is it about?

* The importance of EEG for life with God

* What the Holocaust represents in the context of EEG

Structural part of the EEG The topics were taught by the Evangelizing Couples Guides, followed by reflections among the participants. Promoted by the 3 Zonals of Brazil, this 3rd Meeting not only commemorated the 50th anniversary of the EEG but also promoted the meeting of the Evangelizing Couples Guides distributed throughout the Brazilian states, the fraternity and the exchange of experiences, suggestions, motivations for the next steps to take in the dissemination and participation of more and more people and Guides in the EEG. In TOV International, the first meeting with the Evangelizing Couples was held in Moravia – San José, Costa Rica, between November 3 and 13, 1993, with the name of Assembly of Evangelizing Couples, where Father Ignacio prepared 45 couples from 19 countries in Latin America and Europe, among them 5 Brazilian couples. The first Meeting of Evangelizing Married Couples Guides in Brazil was in Mendes, Rio de Janeiro, in February 1996 and the second in Curitiba, Paraná, in January 2014.

With joy, the objectives of this 3rd Meeting were achieved and the Evangelizing Married Couples Guides are already preparing to apply EEG throughout Brazil in 2025, during the days of Carnival and in the following months.
