The Annual Retreat for Guides took place from February 6 to 8, 2026, at the Convent Sorrowful Mother in the city of Goiânia, state of Goiás, Brazil. It was organized by Local Coordination Goiânia 1 of National Brazil Center 3, within the Brazil Center Zone.
The retreat was led by the Animator in the Spirit, Fabio James Oliveira Macedo, focusing on the theme “Evangelical Profile of Authority.” Fifty-five Guides from various Local Coordinations attended.
This retreat was a time of grace, where silence was the main protagonist, allowing everyone to truly encounter themselves and the Lord.
It is clear that the retreat was a true “watershed moment” for all. Silence, when lived well, ceases to be a “lack of noise” and becomes a space for deep listening—and everyone confirms that the Holy Spirit blew strongly!
