From April 10 to 12, 2026, at the Society of the African Missions, located in Chaponost, near Lyon, France, in a guesthouse named The Cartières, the Europe Zone Team visited the local Team of France. On April 11, both Teams lived the Monthly Day of the Guide together.
Those were days of shared work and prayer, full of joy and fraternity. All the difficulties presented by such a secular, and perhaps quite anticlerical society were discussed. It is true that in many parts of Europe this problem is prevalent.
With the trust placed in the Lord, the School for Preparing Guides has begun in the Drôme region, for the expansion of the Prayer and Life Workshops in France.
Currently, the French Guides live in cities in the departments of Drôme, Loire, and Tarn.
We are joined together in prayer so that this mission of bringing the Living God to people’s hearts can be a sign of hope amidst this beautiful region of France and can extend to other regions throughout the country.
May the Lord bless all the work carried out by these Guides on this apostolic mission of the spirituality of the Prayer and Life Workshops.
